The Danbury Railway Museum is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to operate a railway museum in Danbury, Connecticut. The museum itself is located at 120 White Street in Danbury, adjacent to the Danbury Metro-North Station and Meeker’s Hardware in a 1903 building erected by the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad.
Meeker’s Hardware (90 White St, Danbury, CT)
Meeker’s Hardware is located at White Street and Patriot Drive in downtown Danbury, Connecticut, United States, near the city’s train station and the Danbury Railway Museum, just outside the city’s Main Street Historic District. It was built in 1883, opened in 1885 and has remained in the Meeker family ever since. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
